RETURNS, WARRANTY & CANCELLATIONS POLICY – G AND T MOBILES

This Policy forms part of the General Terms and Conditions of G and T Mobiles. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

Please note that G and T Mobiles operates exclusively as an importer of direct Chinese stock. All devices sold on our platform are imported from China and run official Chinese ROMs.

For all policy-related inquiries or return requests, please contact: sales@gandtmobiles.co.za.

1. Exclusions under the ECT Act (Special Imports)

Because all our devices are direct imports from China, every item listed on our site is classified as a “Special Import”.

In accordance with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act, specially ordered/imported items cannot be returned under standard consumer cooling-off provisions or for change-of-mind reasons once an order has been fulfilled.

If your device arrives with an out-of-box hardware defect, please send us an email immediately via sales@gandtmobiles.co.za so our technical team can assess and assist.

1. Returns, Order Cancellations & Buyer’s Remorse

 * Final Sale Policy: Returns, refunds, or store credits are only accepted for defective or technical issues. We do not accept returns for change of mind.

 * Software Configuration & Policy: All devices are sold with original Chinese ROM software installed and are non-refundable based on software preference. Global ROM flashing is available upon request as a paid add-on service on certain devices.

 * Pre-Dispatch Order Cancellations: If you request to cancel an order before it has been processed and shipped from our supplier, a 15% cancellation and restocking fee applies to cover non-recoverable payment processing charges.

1. Collections

 * If you select to collect your order from our premises, standard retail sales conditions apply.

 * Customers are required to inspect the device’s physical condition before taking possession. Once accepted and taken off-site, cooling-off provisions do not apply.

2. Warranty Terms & Defect Claims

 * Warranty Coverage: All Chinese import devices come with a 7-day out-of-box hardware defect warranty provided by G and T Mobiles, alongside a standard 3-month Chinese manufacturer hardware warranty (unless explicitly stated otherwise).

 * Claim Procedure: To initiate a warranty assessment, email sales@gandtmobiles.co.za with your invoice number, a clear description of the fault, and photos/videos demonstrating the issue.

 * Repair & Processing Times: Because warranty claims require coordination with manufacturers and suppliers in China, the evaluation, repair, or replacement process may take up to 45 days.

 * Customer Warranty Obligations:

   * Proof of purchase (original invoice) is strictly required for all claims.

   * You must receive written authorization from us before shipping any item back.

   * Customers are responsible for shipping, inspection, and diagnostic fees if the reported fault is excluded from warranty coverage in full.

   * Warranties are non-transferable.

   * You are responsible for backing up all software and personal data before sending a device in.

 * Warranty Exclusions:

   * Normal wear and tear.

   * Physical damage, drop damage, liquid damage, or user negligence.

   * Damage caused by power surges or non-compliant charging bricks.

   * Software bricking or issues resulting from flashing custom ROMs, unlocking bootloaders, unauthorized software modifications, or unapproved repairs.

*Shipping costs under warranty.

The shipping costs for sending device to service centre is China will be paid by us G and T Mobiles. Return cost to ship back from service centre must be paid by customer.

1. Transit Damage & Incorrect Deliveries

 * Inspecting Deliveries: Inspect all packages at the time of courier delivery. Any visible damage to the parcel must be noted on the courier waybill/delivery note prior to signing.

 * Refusing Damaged Goods: If a parcel arrives visibly crushed or tampered with, refuse the delivery immediately and contact us so we can resolve the issue with the courier. Accepting a parcel without noting damage confirms receipt in good condition.

 * Listing Images: Photos on our store are for illustrative purposes only; actual product packaging and accessories may differ slightly based on Chinese manufacturer revisions.
